Resource Lab
The resource platform is a collaboration of Kringwinkel Turnhout and the research group Art|Object & Design of the MAD-faculty. (Media, Arts & Design faculty – KHLim/PHL)
Our goal is to make open source designs using materials and products that are gathered by Kringwinkel Turnhout (thrift store). We aim to make the design process and manufacturing of these new designs open by sharing the proces through online social media and workshops we will be doing in our lab.
Central in the philosophy of our product designs is the relationship between user and product. We try to optimize this relationship by stimulating awareness of what is waste and what is not, and by involving the user in the design process.
We are based in the Antwerp area, so drop by if you want to share anything with us, or just want to have look.
